What is a website maintenance plan?
A monthly retainer that keeps a live site healthy: applying updates safely, holding backups off-site, watching for security and uptime problems, keeping performance up, and covering small content or code changes as they come up. It replaces the scramble that happens when a site breaks and nobody has been looking after it.
What is included each month?
Updates to WordPress core, theme and plugins, applied on a staging copy and checked before they reach the live site. Daily off-site backups with restores that are actually tested. Security monitoring and malware scanning, uptime monitoring with alerts, and a monthly PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals check with fixes when a score slips. Each plan also includes a set block of time for content edits, small features and fixes; anything beyond that is quoted first. A plain-language report lands at the end of each month.

A site that launched fast does not stay fast on its own: plugins update, images get added, third-party scripts creep in. Every plan includes a monthly PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals check, and when a number slips I find the cause and fix it as part of the retainer.
Straight talk: some months there is nothing to do; other months a plugin update or a batch of unoptimised images knocks a few points off and I claw them back. The point of the plan is that someone is watching, so a slow month gets caught in weeks, not when you notice traffic dropping. The screenshots are a site I keep monitored.

Yes. Commit to 8 months of maintenance at $99/month, or 6 months of hosting plus maintenance at $115/month, and I build the site for free. The pricing page covers what each plan includes.
Do you support sites you didn't build?
Yes, after a short onboarding audit of the code, hosting and plugins so I know what I am taking on. If the site has serious problems, I will tell you what needs fixing before a plan makes sense.
What counts as included time?
Content edits, small layout changes, new sections, plugin configuration and minor bug fixes, up to the hours in your plan. A new page template, a custom feature or a redesign is quoted separately.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
On a plan, cleanup and restore from a clean backup are covered. I also close the hole that let it in and harden the site so it does not happen again.
Can I cancel?
Monthly plans are month to month, cancel any time. The free-website offers run for their committed term (8 or 6 months); if you leave early, the build is invoiced at its normal rate minus what you have already paid.
