Pricing

Two ways to pay, both without surprises.

Get the build for free and pay a monthly plan, or pay for the build once at $18 an hour or a flat quote. Everything runs through Upwork with escrow, and you see the full number before anything starts.

Option one

Get the website for free.

Commit to a plan for the initial term and the build itself is on me. After that it is month to month at the same rate.

Maintenance

$99 / month

An 8-month commitment. The build is free; you pay only the monthly fee.

  • Core, theme and plugin updates, tested before they go live
  • Off-site backups, with a tested restore path
  • Security patching and malware monitoring
  • Uptime and PageSpeed monitoring, with alerts
  • A small monthly allowance for content edits and tweaks

Hosting + maintenance

$115 / month

A 6-month commitment. Managed hosting and maintenance in one plan, and the build is free.

  • Everything in the Maintenance plan
  • Managed hosting on fast infrastructure, SSL included
  • Server-level caching and a CDN, set up and tuned
  • A staging site for testing changes before they go live
  • One bill for hosting and upkeep, nothing to manage separately

The free build covers a standard business site, roughly up to eight to ten page templates in one builder. Bigger scopes are quoted separately.

Option two

Or just pay for the build.

No plan, no commitment. $18 an hour tracked through Upwork, or a flat price quoted after a short call. Rough ranges by project type:

Small business site

$150–$400

A few pages, fast launch, room to grow.

Landing page

$150–$450

One conversion-first page, A/B-testable.

Bricks site

$200–$550

Lean markup, best-in-class Core Web Vitals.

Elementor site

$250–$600

Fast turnaround, easy to self-edit after handoff.

Divi site

$250–$650

Content-heavy sites, built-in A/B testing.

Local business site

$250–$700

GBP, LocalBusiness schema, service-area pages.

Website redesign

$400–$1,500

Modernise without losing rankings, 301s mapped.

Custom WordPress

$500–$1,800

Hand-coded theme, no builder, raw performance.

WooCommerce store

$600–$2,500

Catalogue, checkout, gateways, cart recovery.

Maintenance on its own

From $99/month, month to month, no minimum term. Managed hosting can be added; ask for a current quote.

Not sure which fits?

Tell me the outcome you're after and I'll give you a real number.

Ask
What moves the number

Why one quote differs from another.

  • How many unique page templates you need, not total pages
  • Whether a design is provided or created from scratch
  • How much existing content has to be migrated and cleaned up
  • Integrations: CRM, booking, payments, membership, custom fields
  • Content: writing it, or placing what you supply
  • Timeline: a genuine rush costs more, a relaxed one can cost less
How billing works

Through Upwork, with escrow.

01

We agree the number

After a short call: a flat price for fixed scope, or an hourly estimate with a cap. In writing before any work starts.

02

You fund a milestone

Money sits in Upwork escrow, not with me. Fixed projects are split into milestones; hourly work is tracked and billed weekly.

03

You release on delivery

You review each milestone and release it when it is done. No payment outside Upwork, so both sides are protected.

Pricing questions

The things people ask before committing.

Is the free build genuinely free?

Yes. On either plan you pay only the monthly fee for the initial term. There is no separate build charge and no deposit. The trade is the maintenance or hosting commitment for that term.

What happens after the initial 8 or 6 months?

The plan continues month to month at the same rate. You can cancel any time after the initial term with 30 days' notice, and there is no price increase at renewal.

Does the free build have a size limit?

It covers a standard business site, roughly up to eight to ten unique page templates, in one builder, with standard forms and integrations. Larger scopes, ecommerce, membership or custom application work are quoted separately, and the plan can still apply to the maintenance afterward.

Can I just pay for the build and skip the plan?

Yes. A build on its own is $18 an hour, or a flat price quoted after a short call. Maintenance is then optional, month to month, with no minimum term.

What if I want to move hosting elsewhere later?

Your site is standard WordPress, so it is portable. After the initial term I hand over a full export and help point your domain wherever you like. The build stays yours either way.

Do you take payment outside Upwork?

No. Everything goes through Upwork so both sides have contract terms, escrow and dispute protection. It also keeps my review history and your paper trail in one place.
