The brief

Almost every visitor is here to book

Xtreme Jetski Watersports is an owner-operated jet ski rental and guided-tour business on Florida's Gulf Coast, running island-hopping expeditions out of St. Petersburg to Egmont Key, Shell Key and Fort De Soto. It holds a 5.0 Google rating across more than 650 reviews.

Almost everyone landing here wants to reserve a ride. The site had to sell the experience quickly, funnel people into an online booking calendar, and, because Florida law requires operators to hold a boater safety certificate, spell out the licensing and rental rules clearly before anyone books a slot.

What I did

Sell the trip, then get out of the way of the booking.

  • Elementor build funnelling every section toward the online booking calendar
  • An adventure-forward hero with a live "check availability" call to action and a call button
  • A guided-expedition block built around the owner, Captain Mike, and the island routes
  • The Florida boater-license requirement and rental rules laid out plainly before the booking step
  • Google reviews pulled in with the 5.0 rating and review count for social proof
  • A photo and video gallery of the skis and the riding areas, plus map, hours and contact
  • LocalBusiness and FAQ schema, metadata and Open Graph for "jet ski rental St Pete Beach"

Outcome

What it does now

The site sells the trip, routes people straight into the booking calendar, and gets the licensing rules across before they reserve.

Performance tuning on the live site is the outstanding work. The design is media-heavy, photos, a background video and an embedded booking widget, and it needs a dedicated optimisation pass, which is why there is no PageSpeed panel on this page yet.
